In my current project I capture the lives of fishermen from different countries and try to document their sometimes unique traditions, environments and challenges. I have already started with fishermen from Portugal and Vietnam and will soon expand the collection to include fishermen from Botswana. My aim is to highlight both the contrasts and the similarities in their daily working lives.

Since I often spot exciting stories on my photographic journey, but don't have the resources to turn them into projects, I organize them into stories. Stories often contain only a few images and are not related to each other.
